Motorsports Parts Warranty

WHAT IS COVERED:

Nissan warrants to correct defects in Nissan Motorsports parts distributed by Nissan North America, Inc. in the United States, including NISMO and NISMO Off Road branded parts, and service parts for Nissan Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) vehicles. This limited warranty covers any repairs needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship.

HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY:

Limited warranty coverage is for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the date of installation or purchase, whichever is earlier. However, the limited warranty on Motorsports parts installed during the Nissan New Vehicle Limited Warranty will extend through, and will not end before, the end of that original New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

  • Damage or failure to the vehicle or parts resulting from racing and competitive driving.
  • Damage or failures of parts resulting from misuse, accident, theft, fire, driving through water resulting in engine water ingestion, chemical fallout, tree sap, salt, sand, hail, flood or other environmental conditions.
  • Modification or improper repair of the part or of the vehicle in which the part is installed.
  • Use of parts not equivalent in quality or design to parts supplied by Nissan.
  • Lack of performance of required maintenance services as outlined in your Nissan Owner’s Manual.
  • Use of improper or dirty fuel, fluids or lubricants.
  • Normal wear and tear, including dings, dents, chips or scratches.
  • Salvage Title – This warranty does not cover damage, failures or corrosion to any Motorsports part installed in a vehicle issued a “salvage” or similar title, including junk, scrap, rebuilt, or flood titles, under any state’s law. This exclusion does not extend to new Genuine Nissan replacement parts, Motorsports parts, or Genuine Nissan accessories installed after issuance of a salvage or similar title.

WHAT YOU MUST DO:

To obtain warranty service, you must deliver the warranted part or the vehicle on which the part or accessory is installed to an authorized Nissan dealer in the United States or Canada at your expense, along with proof of purchase. You must also pay for labor charges to remove and replace the part or accessory if it was not originally installed by an authorized Nissan dealer.

LIMITATION OF WARRANTIES AND OTHER WARRANTY TERMS AND STATE LAW RIGHTS:

This limited warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages such as loss of use of the vehicle, inconvenience, or commercial loss. Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited to the duration of this written warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

WHAT NISSAN WILL DO:

If the part was originally installed by an authorized Nissan dealer, it will be removed and reinstalled after repair at no charge for parts and labor. If not installed by an authorized dealer, the part or accessory will be repaired or exchanged only. Nissan reserves the right to use functionally equivalent replacement parts.

Effective Date: Limited warranty effective for Motorsports parts purchased on or after November 1, 2022.

2. Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and distribution. Always secure cargo.
3. Towing varies by configuration. See Nissan Towing Guide and Owner’s Manual for details.
4. All retail prices listed are suggested prices only. Dealer sets actual price. Installation not included.
5. Cargo shown for display purposes only. Heavy loading may affect handling and stability.

Nissan Engine and Transmission Service Parts: All new and genuine remanufactured engines and transmissions carry a limited 3-year, unlimited-mile warranty. Ask your dealer for details.
